Chicago Baseball & Educational Academy programs are designed to give Chicago youth—ages 8 to 18—from diverse backgrounds and under-resourced neighborhoods, access to baseball and fastpitch softball coaching, training and educational opportunities on the campus of UIC. To accomplish this, CBEA shares its indoor and outdoor training facilities and resources with a strong network of local leagues and community organizations—giving more than 6,000 kids year-round access to practice space, skills clinics and the opportunity to play in tournaments. In partnership with our community partners, we empower Chicago youth to dream big.

How to join the CBEA Community Partner Program
The CBEA Community Partner Program prioritizes organizations that:
>> Provide high quality, affordable, and inclusive baseball or softball programming to Chicago youth, ages 8 - 18
>> Operate in under-resourced communities in the city of Chicago*
>> Are recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as non-profit organizations
>> Maintain proof of current liability insurance coverage
All participants in the CBEA Community Partner Program must complete our survey in order to gain access to community Partner benefits.
*CBEA defines under-resourced communities using CMAP data for the City of Chicago, focusing on community areas that over-index to the City as a whole for race and ethnicity (Black, Hispanic or Latino) or educational attainment (High School Diploma or Equivalent, Less than High School Diploma), or under-index for median household income.
